Lassen Community College

Located in Susanville, California, Lassen College is surrounded by the natural beauty of the Sierra Nevada mountain range. Lassen College offers a range of specialized programs in nursing, gunsmithing, business, administration of justice, liberal arts, and technology. Its Gunsmithing Program is the oldest in the US and offers degrees and certificates in firearm repair and general gunsmithing. Additionally, the college is known for its strong agricultural program, including courses in animal science, plant science, and natural resources management, as well as vocational and technical programs in fire technology, welding, and automotive technology. With its commitment to student success and its diverse range of programs, Lassen College provides an excellent educational experience for students of all backgrounds and interests. Its small student body of around 2,500 ensures personalized attention from faculty and staff.
